Are There Luggage Restrictions?
Some tours advertised have luggage restrictions. Full details will be provided to you in writing at time of booking confirmation.
What Do I Need To Bring?
We recommend that you wear comfortable casual clothing, warm layered clothing for winter and light loose clothing for summer. Neat casual dress is required for evening wear. We recommend you have comfortable walking shoes, a hat, insect repellent and sunscreen. Toiletries, any medications you may need along with a bathing costume and beach towel. A camera is a must and a bottle of drinking water.
What's Included?
The inclusions of your tour are listed on the "Tour at a Glance" pages of this website. We balance inclusions with the freedom and flexibility to do your own thing. After all, it's your holiday.
What's Not Included?
Transport to/from your holiday destination, airport taxes, passport and visa fees, insurance, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, items of a personal nature, excess baggage, additional excursions and upgrades.
What Do I Eat?
Our emphasis is on fresh food and our meals are nutritious and delicious. In most instances special dietary requirements can be catered for. Please advise any special needs at time of booking.
Do I Need To Reconfirm My Tours?
There is no need to reconfirm your holiday before you leave home, however our staff will be happy to discuss any of your travel arrangements or answer any queries you may have in relation to your holiday with The Traveller. Should you wish to discuss your plans please call our reservations department on 1800 171 156. Full details will be in your tour documents.
Smoking and Drinking?
Government Regulations prohibit smoking or the consumption of alcohol inside tourist vehicles within Australia. Smoking will be possible at planned stops along the route.
- Cairns - Rooms at the resort are non-smoking, however smoking is permitted on your balcony/lanai.
- Other Destinations - Smoking rooms may be available on request, but are not guaranteed
Do I Need Travel Insurance?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. The insurance should cover loss arising from the passenger’s inability to travel due to any reason whatsoever. The Traveller accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages or expenses incurred by a person travelling.
