THE SYDNEY TRAVELLER

Day 1: Tuesday (D)
On your arrival into Sydney, you will be transferred to the Travelodge Wentworth Street. Tonight meet your guide in reception and enjoy dinner at the Vibe Restaurant.

Day 2: Wednesday (B)
Enjoy a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House. After your tour you can wander around Circular Quay, before boarding your lunch cruise. After your cruise transfer to your coach for the city highlights tour. View Sydney Tower, Darling Harbour before heading to Bondi Beach. This evening dinner is at your own expense.

Day 3: Thursday (BLD)
Begin today with a walk through Sydney harbour. After a transfer to ‘The Spit' we follow the shoreline to Clontarf Beach, before continuing along to Crater Cove lookout with sweeping views of the harbour. Arrival at Forty Baskets Beach signals the end of the ‘wild' part of this walk with a half hour stroll to Manly, where we stop for lunch, after lunch return to city via the Manly ferry. This evening, dinner is at a typical Aussie Pub.

Day 4: Friday (BD)
Today is a free day and a chance to discover Sydney. Perhaps visit the Australian or Powerhouse Museums, indulge in a little retail therapy, or get some of the best views of the city on a Bridgeclimb (own expense). This evening dinner is at Stanley St, located in the centre of Sydney's original Italian community.

Day 5: Saturday (BD)
After breakfast, go bargain hunting at Paddy's Markets, the busy Growers Market, Paddington Markets or the markets at The Rocks. This evening, join your local guide for a Rocks Pub Tour. Wander the cobblestone lanes and visit three historic pubs which each have interesting stories attached to them. Enjoy A drink at each, before fi nishing up at a traditional Aussie Pub.

Day 6: Sunday (BL)
Full day tour to the Hunter Valley, renown for its outstanding choice of wineries. Visit several wineries today, with tastings at each, and the chance to purchase wines from the cellar door. Lunch is included as is a visit to the Hunter Valley Gardens. Dinner is at your leisure, an ideal opportunity to experience the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Symphony Orchestra Dinner Package (own expense).

Day 7: Monday (BD)
Another day at leisure, a chance to do some last minute shopping, or maybe take a trip to the Blue Mountains. This evening we take the Sydney Monorail to Darling Harbour for our farewell dinner at Jordan's Seafood Restaurant. With the city lights refl ecting off the water, there is no fi ner setting to reminisce about your holiday in Sydney.

Day 8: Tuesday (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel or cafe before your transfer to Sydney Airport.
